BALOS LAGOON
Located only 10 kms away from Katoi Luxury cave, the lagoon of Balos has white sand and exotic white, vivid blue and turquoise waters. The sea is very shallow and warm and in many places the sand has a lovely pinkish color, because of millions of crushed shells. The lagoon and the wider area, with rare species of flora and fauna, are protected under the Natura 2000 program.

FALASSARNA BEACH
After 10 min driving (11 kms) from Katoi Luxury cave, you will find yourself at Falassarna bay. It hosts some of the most famous beaches in Greece, which has been awarded as the best beach of Crete and voted as one of the 10 best beaches in Europe several times in the past.
The sand in Falassarna is whitish, making the water color tropical.
PIGADI TOU MERI BEACH
Only 1.8 km away (20 min on foot) you will find Meri Pigadi beach, which has three consecutive small protected bays, with fine pebbles and crystal clear deep waters. There are no facilities on the beaches; it is an ideal place to relax, away from the noise of cities. Also, there are few small trees, under which you can find shade.
VIGLIA BEACH
The beach of Vigglia is located 2,5 kms north of Katoi Luxury Cave. Viglia main beach is almost semicircular shape, has coarse sand and crystal clear water In some parts; the sand in some places is interrupted by a few pebbles and rocks.
